Certified Peer Support Specialist or Psych. Tech. - Part-time + On-call (Safe Haven)

is actively recruiting a parttimeCertified Peer Support Specialistto work in the Safe Haven Recovery Centera residential program for men and women over the age of with substance addictions or cooccurring illnesses that provides a full continuum of high and medium intensity care to give men and women of all walks of life a second chance.
The successful candidate will fill two set shifts per week and be required to be oncall for an additional two shifts during the week to assist with coverage when needed.
Location The Safe Haven Recovery Center is located at South West Farmington Utah.
Shifts Safe Have Recovery Center is a residential program that operate.
The set shifts that are currently available for candidates to fill after hire are outlined below Set shifts and required oncall shifts will be determined between the program supervisor and the successful candidate.
Compensation Shift Differentials The hourly rate for this position is outlined below Shift Differentials Employees working during the swing shift pm to pm will receive a shift differential starting hourly rate becomes.

OnCall Pay Structure The successful candidate will receive a per diem for each oncall shift they are scheduled.
The per diem is compensated on a monthly basis during the pay period in which the last day of the month falls.
When an employee is called in during one of their oncall shifts they are expected to arrive on the unit within minutes of the call.
When contacted to provide coverage before the start of a shift the expectation is that the employee arrives at the scheduled start time of that shift.
Oncall shifts are considered scheduled shifts and employees must be available to work when called in.
It is the responsibility of the employee to coordinate with the program supervisor if they are unable to fulfill their oncall shift due to illness or other circumstances.
Per diem compensation will not be paid if an employee calls out during an oncall shift or does not respond when called.

Job Description The Human Service Technicians Psych.
Techs at Safe Haven Recovery Center are frontline staff who work directly with the clients.
Duties assigned to the HSTs include but are not limited to the following activities All employees of Davis Behavioral Health Inc.
are required to successfully pass both a preemployment criminal background screening and drug screening.
All staff at the Safe Haven Recovery Center are required to be First Aid and CPR certified within days of hire.
The successful candidate must be certified as a Peer Support Specialist CPSS by the Utah Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health.
Candidates who meet eligibility requirements to become a CPSS httphsemployee.

govdsamhcps will also be considered with the expectation that certification as a Targeted Case Manager TCM is completed within the first days of employment and certification as a Peer Support Specialist is completed as soon as possible but no later than months after hire.
Qualifications to become a certified Targeted Case Manager through the State of Utah Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health include Preference will also be given to candidates who are bilingual EnglishSpanish.
The successful candidate must also have a clean driving record to operate agency vehicles andor transport clients when necessary.
Davis Behavioral Health utilizes an electronic medical record which requires proficiency in computerrelated skills.
Meeting monthly facetoface service expectations and productivity standards is also required.
The successful candidate must be able to pass a preemployment background screening drug screening and have a clean driving record.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients that have sever mental illness are hard working can work both independently and successfully within a small outreach team.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
