Head of Business Development

Job Description The Head of Business Development will train, develop, lead, and set strategy for a global team of Account Development Managers (inbound sales) and Business Development Representatives (outbound sales).  A team of Directors on a global level will also report into the Head of Business Development.  This role reports to our Chief Marketing Officer and sits on our CRO Leadership team.  What you'll own: You will lead the ADM and BDR teams to use effective prospecting techniques to identify and qualify potential buyers You will be developing processes around the inside sales team You will be managing a team of Directors globally Able to build proven processes across the team using a data driven and analytical approach As appropriate, develop an ongoing calendar of contests (SPIF) and recognition/rewards to celebrate achievements and motivate the team You will be part of the bigger discussion for our Go-To-Market strategy Be accountable for the quotas of all ADM/BDR's and the amount of pipeline needed from the ADM/BDR team to support global company billings targets Build ADM/BDR teams in diverse countries and repeat the process several times per year due to internal promotions from your team Liaise and coordinate efforts with Marketing Campaign Directors, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, and Business Development Directors to maintain alignment in the Go-To-Market motion Direct the Global scaling of people, processes, and systems Create and oversee ADM/BDR processes to improve Salesforce data quality and record acuracy Qualifications Who you're committed to being: Ability to manage in the moment: providing immediate feedback and mentoring with the appropriate approach 10+ years of successful experience leading an inside B2B sales team 5+ years of inside sales experience; proven track record of exceeding quota Deep knowledge of Salesforce.com Highly analytical Metrics and process driven Strategic leadership Passionate about Pluralsight's Mission; you eat, sleep, and breathe our cause:  Democratize Technology Skills Strong leadership with the ability to create a compelling vision for success and inspire the team to deliver exceptional results Scrappy entrepreneurial approach to everything you do You default to action and have a knack for influencing others in ways that bring speed to the business to get things done Execeptional problem solving skills and business judgement Relentlessly resourceful and able to drive results autonomonously, withlimited oversight High EQ and capable of building strong relationships up, down, and sideways within the organization Passion for building teams and cultures Proven track record of exceptional marketing success Strong communicaton skills with the ability to clearly explain complex issues to a range of audiences Self motivated, accountable approach, combined with strong sense of teamwork     Additional Information About Pluralsight Founded in 2004 and trusted by Fortune 500 companies, Pluralsight is the technology learning platform organizations and individuals in 150+ countries count on to innovate faster and create progress for the world. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
