Pluralsight is seeking an energetic, motivated, experienced network operations engineer to design, build, maintain, and remediate networking functions at all of our global offices. The candidate will work on new and existing networking projects and infrastructure while providing key input, decision making, and execution with the build out of networking at new office locations globally. The focus will be on creating an incredible wireless and wired networking experience for Pluralsight employees using state of the art technology and ensuring service continuity.
Responsibilities:
Installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance, and service continuity of corporate networking at all office locations globally. Specifically:
Ensure stable and reliable ISP networking services.
Day to day network performance monitoring.
Network troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Deployment and maintenance of networking monitoring, analysis and reporting tools.
Application of network configuration changes following a standard project management methodology.
Installation and maintenance of networking hardware and software: routers, switches, wireless access points, etc.
Design and architecture of wireless networking for optimal service and scalability.
Assist with networking requirements and build outs as part of other corporate IT Projects.
Must be able to occasionally work off hours for larger roll outs / changes / fixes.
Mentor other team members on networking best practices.
Work with Security team to ensure secure networking protocols and implementation of corporate security standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with networking in a corporate and/or consulting environment.
3+ years of experience with enterprise Cisco networking hardware and software
3+ years of experience with rollout of wireless networking within a corporate environment
CCNP Certification
Strong attention to detail with ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Creative thinking and excellent problem solving skills
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously both independently and within a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer-focused, service-oriented and positive team-aligned attitude
Effective listening skills, ability to follow the direction of IT management
Ability to thrive in high demand, high pressure situations
Experience in a Business / Corporate IT environment a plus
Experience with Cisco A/V equipment and A/V networking solutions a plus
Ability to travel up to 25% to USA and global locations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
