Executive Assistant

Job Description
Rated as one of Utah's Top 10 General Contractors, Ascent Construction is hiring an Executive Assistant, with at least two years of related work experience. The ability to grasp key concepts and work efficiently is critical in this entrepreneurial environment. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
â ¢ Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
â ¢ Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
â ¢ Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
â ¢ Represents the executive by attending meetings in the executive's absence; speaking for the executive.
â ¢ Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
â ¢ Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
â ¢ Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
â ¢ Secures information by inputting information in database(s)
â ¢ Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.
â ¢ Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
â ¢ Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
â ¢ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Executive Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
Writing Skills, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Scheduling, Microsoft Office Skills, Organization, Time Management, Presentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Travel Logistics, Verbal Communication, the ability to communicated graphically a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
