Cinder Staffing is looking for a passionate Sales Manager to fill a role for one of our clients in the retail industry opening new locations in Farmington and Sandy Utah. This would be a direct hire opportunity and a competitive compensation package.
Job
Responsibilities:
Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Manage retail staff, including Assistant Managers and Sales Associates.
Help retail sales staff achieve 3 Step System goals and sales targets.
Organize and distribute staff schedules.
Handle customer questions, complaints and issues.
Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Utilize information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning.
Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met.
Ensure standards are being maintained and followed.
Ensure hours of operation are in compliance with company standards.
Ensures availability of merchandise and services by maintaining inventories.
Secures merchandise by utilizing security systems and measures.
Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.
Propose innovative ideas to increase market share.
