Distribution Coordinator

Full-time position with the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome (NCSBS) for an applicant who can package and ship customer orders, process online conference registrations and respond to customer inquiries. Applicants should have excellent customer service and organizational skills with an ability to communicate via multiple channels.
Compensation Package: Starting salary range from $30,000 to $32,000. Full benefits package includes health and dental insurance, retirement (IRA), sick and vacation leave packages and holiday paid leave.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Receive, process and fulfill customer orders.
Move packages and items weighing up to 70 lbs.
Maintain and organize item inventory.
Work with Marketing Specialist to maintain inventory levels.
Process and organize paperwork including invoices, sales orders and daily sales reports.
Respond to customer inquiries.
Maintain a professional and friendly tone on the phone.
Research and provide cost estimates for shipping and materials.
Participate in sales meetings.
Maintain online store.
Serve as contact for shipping vendors and customer third-party fulfillment representatives.
Serve as first-line manager of conference registrations both pre-conference and on-site during conference.
Maintain shipping supplies.
Work on other projects as assigned.
A 4-year degree in a related field preferred but not required.
Experience packaging and shipping orders.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Familiarity with MAS90 accounting software preferred but not required.
Excellent organization skills.
Strong work ethic with ability to work both independently and within a team.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
