ApplyJob TypePart-timeDescriptionThe Ride Attendant is responsible for enforcing all ride restrictions and limitations specific to each individual ride and/or attraction as well as assisting guests with loading and unloading of ride and restraining systems, in accordance to Lagoon's policies and procedures. Ride Attendants also greet guests in a friendly and positive manner as they check for proper hand tamps and take tickets and deposit them into the proper ticket box. Ride Attendants do NOT operate rides or equipment.This position is seasonal. Seasonal employees perform their work at certain seasons and periods of the year. Their work, by its nature, is not continuous nor is it carried on throughout the year. A seasonal employee who is employed at the conclusion of the season will be terminated.Requirements Able to stand, walk, crouch, crawl, kneel, or stoop. Able to stand and/or walk at a specified for up to eight (8) hours. Able to perform work duties outside in varying weather prevalent at the time. Able to read and understand daily checklists. Able to speak to and give other employees and guests verbal instructions. The Ride Attendant must be flexible to work at different ride and/or attraction positions and must be knowledgeable to all work stations requirements and functions. Able to work around high noise levels resulting from amusement rides and various equipment. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
